friendly & informative tours since 1995

Kutna Hora is an old town located 60 km southeast of Prague, famous for its silver mines. Silver ore deposits were exploited here in the 13th and the 14th centuries, rendering the town excessive wealth. In the middle ages, the town became the second most important in the kingdom of Bohemia, after Prague.
During our excursion we will visit the gothic St. Barbara cathedral [ Barbara is the patron saint of miners]. Then, we visit the Museum of Czech silver, where we also explore the corridors of the former silve mines. Upon returning from the former corridors, we enter the Vlask dv?r (the Italian Court)and what used to be the Royal mint, where the famous Prague groshens were produced.. We will then take a pleasant walk through the center of town, stop at a restaurant, and enjoy a typical Czech lunch. After lunch, our minibus will take us to the Church of All Saints; this church is unlike anything you have seen because all the decorations are made from human bones! After this extraordinary and unique experience we will be driven back to Prague.
