This
introductory walk acquaints you with the Old Town''''s history and monuments, while also opening up themes for exploring the other quarters that make up Prague''''s medieval center. We begin on Old Town Square with the famous
Astronomical Clock adorning the Old Town Hall. Next the turbulent events of Czech history are described in the buildings and monuments that circle the Old Town market square. Stopping briefly at
Kafka's birthplace nearby the Jewish Quarter, it''''s on to the magnificent Jesuit Clementinum, which, like Prague''''s wealth of Baroque monuments, disguises centuries of religious conflict. From
Charles Bridge we view the spectacular panorama formed by Prague Castle and the Lesser Quarter. After visiting the
Bethlehem Chapel we continue our walk to
Wenceslas Square in the New Town, heart of modern Prague.
Here our walk ends and you can join us for our
romantic boat tour. Sit back, relax with a drink while catching all of Prague''''s important sites from an entirely different angle.
